Church Ministries
Steward Board
Elected annually and nominated by the pastor to the Quarterly Conference for confirmation or rejection. Stewards shall be persons of solid piety, who both know and love the Methodist doctrine and discipline, and be of good natural and acquired ability to transact the temporal business of the church.
Stewardess Board
A thriving ministry that prepares the Lord's table: the Altar Table and Chancel Rail. Also, they are the servers of the table for the poor, sick, and shut-in. Lastly, they assist with Christian discipleship, junior stewardess training, funerals, and baptisms.
Trustee Board
The Board of Trustees maintains the church facilities, preventative maintenance on all facilities/equipment, perform needed repairs/service, and procure quotes for large repairs/remodels, monitor/assist contractors, architects, and volunteers making sure necessary tasks are accomplished.
Board of Christian Education & Formation
The Board provides “cradle to the grave” nurture in the Christian faith for the members of the church.
The Board promotes Sunday Schools, Christian Youth and Young Adult Fellowships, Vacation Bible Schools, adult education courses, Bible Study Courses, and more.
Greeters Ministry
The Greeters open the church doors to all who come to worship. They are called to greet each person as you would welcome Christ by extending a smile, hello, and welcome and assisting in any way they can. By extending hospitality to others, they can delight in the opportunity to reflect love.
Lay Council
The Lay are focused on every individual inside and outside of Trinity. Their mission is to "Reach, Teach, and Minister To All of God's People -- Equipping Them For Greater Works and Service For Him."
Sunday School
Sunday Church School occurs every Sunday morning prior to morning worship. It's an opportunity to learn more about scripture, learn how to apply scripture to life, and to ask questions about the lesson being taught.
Evangelism
This ministry provides a range of supportive services catering to its members' spiritual and practical needs. Among these services are a dedicated prayer team, a generational baby shower, and a healing program.
Usher Board
A valuable service organization assists with guiding new and current members to their seats. This allows them to develop a deeper understanding of the community, its needs, and how they can continue to provide support.
Children's Ministry
Designed to teach, reach, and lead all young children to Christ, this ministry is transforming lives daily. They teach them how to use the Bible and understand God's words by having them interact with the written word, songs, Christian movies, Christian dance, instrumental, and more.
Golden Year's Ministry
Through this ministry, GYM ensures that Trinity seniors are involved in fun-filled activities that keep us mentally fit, spiritually sound, and occupied. All members are important and have something to contribute to making this ministry successful and meaningful to the congregation.
Class Leaders
A family-focused, Christ-centered ministry whose mission is to stay in contact with the church's members. They ensure that no member is left out or left behind by staying in contact and checking on their well-being.
Music Department
By providing the music for the church, they set the atmosphere so that the congregation is ready to receive the Word. The Music Department includes the Mass Choir, Children's Choir, Praise Team, and Musicians.
Information Technology
They make Trinity accessible through streaming, Zoom, and in-house productions. We introduce others interested in the church and Christianity through their minds and hearts by introducing them to the Trinity spirit.
One Church One School
A nationwide program involving churches and schools in partnerships to teach young people to value life and learning, to support our educators, and to assist the families in our community.
Barnabas Ministry
This ministry's mission is to hold a space for the men of Jesus Christ and emphasize that they have a purpose based on God's plan. This is done through a relationship with Jesus Christ, Fellowship with Christian men, and continuous service to the community, Indianapolis, and the country.
Christian Youth Fellowship
The Christian Youth Fellowship is a ministry for ages 12yrs-17yrs old. The ministry's mission is to disciple young people in Christian growth through study, worship, fellowship, leadership, and service.
Young Adult
Ministry
The young adult ministry is for those between the ages of 18yrs - 35yrs old. The ministry is designed to foster the personal and communal growth and education of young adults toward a relationship with Jesus Christ leading to Christian maturity.
